I can't remember if I have ever read this book. But I found it at my Mom's house, and I know it was once mine.

Had I known this book was so good, I would have read the series ages ago!

Anne is such a lovable, believable character. I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the series now, and am almost kicking myself for turning the series into a bookring rathar than keeping it myself...

Received all nine books in today's mail. I plan to start reading them soon and will make a journal entry for each individual book as I finish it.

I really enjoyed re-reading this favorite from my childhood and am looking forward to reading the others in the series.

So sorry it took me a while to get around to starting this set; I have had a lot of bookrings arrive all at once. I have a lot of vacation time coming up in the next few weeks and should be able to get a lot of reading done.

I received this entire series today and have already read the first chapter of this first book. I have always been curious about these books because my younger sister, who DOES NOT read, actually read and enjoyed this series when we were younger. I read every day and read quickly, so it shouldn't take me too long to get through this series. Thanks day-zee for sharing!

I have tried a couple of times to read this first book, but the whole set has some type of incense oil or fragrance on them. It smells good and I am sure there were good intentions behind putting fragrance on the books, but I get a headache every time I try to read them. I have SEVERE allergies to fragrances and get migraines from perfumes and chemicals. I will try to get the fragrance out of the books and try to read this first one again in about a week. If I can't get the smell out so I can read them, I will go ahead and send the whole series to the next reader. I apologize for the delay, but I can't spend hours with my nose in a book that has a perfumed smell.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

I decided that I don't want to deal with the whole fragrance in the books issue right now, so I'm sending this series on to the next reader, princess-peapod. I am disappointed because I was really looking forward to reading these books. I have seen copies of some of them in thrift stores since signing up for this bookring, so maybe I will come across more copies and read them later. It did seem from the little that I was able to read (before getting a headache) that I may enjoy them. I hope the next reader doesn't have allergies and migraines like I do so the fragrance will not bother them.

Guess what is next to read on my list? I have a book club book to read first, and then on to this series!

I actually finished this one shortly after receiving the box. I thought I had journaled, but I apparently had not. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series. So far, I'm finding these cute little stories.
