From Lytteltonwitch's garage.
Ok, I admit it: I have occasionally been known to watch Coronation Street... but I can give it up any time I like! ;-)

Started flicking through this while I was sorting out some books, and ended up reading the whole thing. I was only an occasional Coronation Street watcher when this book came out, so most of the story lines it talks about are pretty unfamiliar to me, but it was interesting seeing how the characters have moved on since then (and how many changes there have been in the cast!). It was also interesting to read that when they wrote the first series, they actually wrote a complete back story for every character, as well as for the street, and the Rovers Return, and even for the brewery!

FutureCat thought that I would enjoy reading this Coronation Street Book - being a Coro Fan. Book last seen in the hands of husband who was having a good read - reckon I will have to be second!

'fraid I made a mistake - the ANON entry previously is mine - I forgot to log on!
TopKat gave me this book to take down to the meetup in Dunedin on Saturday, where it was either picked up by another bookcrosser or added to the ever-growing pile of books to be released at the NZBC convention in February.

This was picked up at Saturday's meetup with Futurecat and Lytteltonwitch here in Dunedin. We have added it to the pile of books being kept for the 2006 Convention. I, the boreal part of this bookshelf and a Coro St viewer, have had a quick browse through this and might read it more closely if time permits.
Love Coro! Love the book! May take me a while to let this one go!
