Second in the Meredith Gentry series... currently reading.
Journal Entry 2 by KiwiWonder from Auckland, Auckland Province New Zealand on Tuesday, January 11, 2005
If possible, this book is better than the first. While the first had a lot of setting up to do, explaining the plot, and the characters, etc, this one merely takes off where the previous one left off. This has more of a plot... and therefore is slightly deeper embedded in the fantasy/horror genre. Overall tho, a very, very good read! And like the first, I am definitely continuing on in the series!

Arrived safely this morning. I have a few in front of it but will read within a week or so.
The second in the series and it takes over from where the first one left off. Not quite so much sex in this one though you know it's happening behind the plot. As enjoyable as the first. Looking forward to more by this author.

RELEASE NOTES:
OK I just recived this due to the fact it was sent to my old address I will send it on as soon as possible I am sorry for the delay.
Wow - loved this. Didn't realize that I hadn't journaled- my apologies. Now I want to read the rest of her books! Off to the next in line!
Recieved in today's mail. I've been looking forward to reading this book for quite some time now, and have Seduced by Moonlight ready to read right after. I have one ring book I'm working on right now and then I'll get right to this! Thanks again!
I read this book over the past couple days. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I recall liking Frost a whole lot by the end of Kiss of Shadows. And I loved the interaction between Merry and Frost near the beginning of this book. However, it seems a curse of Ms. Hamilton to take perfectly likable characters, get you all worked up over them, and then make them into something you don't care for. By the end of this book, I did not care for Frost, and you would think Merry had forgotten how much she loved him, too.
At last Ms. Hamilton has come up with a plot that actually requires all the sex scenes she enjoys writing. It is funny. There was a subplot of the release of the Nameless. Again, this is an interesting plot. This series is suffering from the same plague as the Anita Blake series in that Merry and all her cohorts are becoming more and more powerful, regaining lost powers and such.
All in all, it is a fun read that does not take long. I do enjoy Ms. Hamilton's work and look forward to reading Seduced by Moonlight and future Merry and Anita stories.
I still have Kiss of Shadows and will send all three books home to KiwiWonder soon.
