New York Times Bestseller is the true story of a boy whose mother gave him away to be raised by her unorthodox psychiatrist where the boy found himself living with the doctor's bizarre family. This is a funny, harowing account of an ordinary boy's survival under the most extraordinary circumstances.

I ran out the other night with my dog, Medea, and chased down two of Rutland's books. I was not successful with the one left at the stop on Route 11 going North. The book was gone by the time I got there. But I was more successful at The Faming Ice Cube. The girl behind the counter, who is a communications major from YSU, picked up the book when she was cleaning the tables. She was kind enough to hand it over, only after I told her about "BookCrossing" and promised that I would pass this book along to her when I am finished with it. I am half way through with this one and will reserved my comments until I have finished. Thank you Rutland!!

"Running with Scissors" is a true memoir of the author's early years with a follow-up of the characters at the end of the book. After meeting these unconventional characters, this reader wanted to know how these people would end up. Burroughs, the author, did not disappoint me. The follow-up will surpise you.
