Girlfriend in a Coma
2 journalers for this copy...
I really enjoyed this book for about the first three quarters, then it went a bit leftfield. It was given to me by someone who regards it as his favourtite book, so I guess that's just my take. I did like Douglas Coupland's writing style though.
My first journal entry was a bit dry and dull, so I'm sort of cheating and giving it another go. I'll release the book tomorrow so then it will have a life of it's own. I was given it as a birthday gift. I was living in Glasgow at the time and my flat mate gave it to me. It's his favourite book. We sort of didn't get on very well as flat mates and only ended up flatting for 6 months. I had been living with 2 just graduated male accountants (it said '2 young professionals' in the paper but failed to add 'yet to start graduate jobs')and had seen every episode of Jackass 4+ times in the space of 5 months, so it seemed like a good idea at the time to move in with someone my age. I should have seen the signs, with every Smiths and Nick Cave album on the shelf and and a liking of the Glasgow weather. But Glasgow is a great town. Especially if you like live music. You should visit.
i am across this at the perfect timing and pinpointed picked out path or just me thanx to whoever left it i appreciate a BUNDLE
