I just fell in love with all the characters and their wonderful whacky friendship. Plus the relationship between the mother and daughter in the story.

Arrived safely in New Zealand today. I'd completely forgotten I was getting this and The Worst Day of My Life, So Far, so it was a lovely surprise to find them waiting for me when I got home this evening. And even more of a surprise to find that this audiobook was still in it's wrapper, never been opened!

I've got a quiet weekend planned, so hopefully I'll find some time to curl up and listen to this book.

Thanks Brendal57!

I think I enjoyed this even more than the print version, despite it being abridged - mainly because of the lovely accents it's read in, which made the story so much more real. And I've never heard a French Louisiana accent before, so hearing the author do Teensie and her mother's voices was seriously cool!

Thanks again, Brendala57!

Think I know who I can pass this on to next, but it might have to wait until Easter.

FutureCat gave me this audio book to bring back to Dunedin with me as she knows that I love to listen to books.
I plan to listen to it as soon as I get my stereo to the new place.
Maybe then I can release the book.......

i finished listening to the tapes today. I tried to read the book along with the tapes at times but being abridged it skipped large sections and I got lost.
So I will read the book later or release it.
Interesting story, mothers and daughters, life long friends.
It was great to listen to the story, to hear different voices and the accent of the author.

I will pass it along one day to someone else that will enjoy listening to it. :o)
