WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
A thoroughly enjoyable book, with a view of the vietnam war not found in many books on the war. As a medevac pilot (although currently serving in a GS aviation unit) and as a veteran of multiple wars, I found his experiences in wars from WWII to vietnam interesting. Although Iraq and Vietnam are different in many ways (especially no after mission drinking at the O Club)I found many of his experiences similar, though the intensity in vietnam was vastly more lethal. Also I realized he was the same age when he went to vietnam as I am as I sit here in Iraq. So I could really relate. But I recommend it to anyone interested in what the dustoff mission is all about.
