LESENSWERT LESENSWERT LESENSWERT
Dafür hätte Colm 1999 beinahe den Booker Prizr erhalten.

A brilliant book! Even though I couldn't identify with any of the characters or found them especially loveable I just couldn't stop reading once I started. Finished it in one day! Without the bookbox I probably would not have read this, so thanks to erdlinde for including it!
I hope LastEdition will enjoy it as well.
10.3. Will be sent on its way today.

This comes much recommended and I look forward to reading it. Thank you dschinny!
Hardback. This edition is in English.
Synopsis:
Helen's brother is dying, and with two of his friends she waits for the end in her grandmother's crumbling old house. Her mother and grandmother, after years of strife have come to an uneasy peace. The six of them, from different generations and beliefs, are forced to come to terms with each other.
------------------------
Indeed a book it is difficult to put down once you start reading. A chilling reminder of what can happen if there is no communication even within a family.
