I loved this book! It is a little mature for my students with all the references to sex, bosoms, breasts, and whatnot, but it really was fun! I love reading fantasy and Piers Anthony really knows how to write good fantasy. He doesn't appeal to everyone but he certainly does appeal to me. Reminds me of the days I played Dungeons and Dragons as a kid.

Released during Harrypalooza. I left this on the counter with 2 other books so that the owner/manager would find them quickly and easily. The place was very busy so I didn't bother her. Left Ban Books is a fabulous place full of dream and magic and best of all things...BOOKS! Wow. I loved the turn out for Harrypalooza. Lots of people. More people than I think would turn out in Jefferson COunty if the same were true at Books Galore. Hopefully todays drop and the drop from a few days ago will help revive this as an official crossing zone.

I have not read the Xanthe series, but when I came across this in an OBCZ, I just had to pick it up. Sounds a little macho for me, but I will give it a try.

This boo really was interesting. I liked the humor and imagination the author wrote with. Of course, like I said before, Im not really drawn to this kind of thing, but it was fun to try something different. Thanks!
