I'm not going to say much because I don't want to risk spoiling this for everyone else. There were some surprises for me in this book! Enjoy!

Released to WingedMan.
I'll begin reading this today. Thank you WR.
I'm not sure what happened if it is really anything to do with the book or some other things going on right now but I'm feeling burned out on this series. I've tried and tried to finish this one and find myself reading pages only to discover I've no idea what I read so I'm going to go ahead and send this on to the next person. Enjoy.

Sending to Alanfoxboro
I received this book today in the mail. Thanks again to WingedMan. I will read and post a review.
Card is back on track with The Crystal City. I was a little afraid after reading Heartfire that this series had dried up, but I really liked this book. I don't think that it was quite as good as Seventh Son or Red Prophet, but it advanced the story well, and, thank goodness, the golden plow finally did its job. So the Crystal City is under construction; what's next for Alvin Smith? I am anxious to find out.
Thanks again to WingedMan for these bookrings. This book is off to dodau in the UK.
The latest in the Alvin saga but hopefully not the last. I can't wait to get around to read this and hopefully it will be this weekend.
I didn't want this book to end. Set a few years after the last one it takes up Alvins story and tells the founding of the Crystl City of the title. All his life has been heading towards this but Alvin still struggles to work out just how to do it. But will help from others, new and old he manages it. I really hope there will be more books about Alvin. I don't want to even think about this being the last one.
Pming Yedrake to confim she still wants it.

RELEASE NOTES:
Thanks dodau. I'll begin reading the book asap.
Caught via US mail as part of book ring. I actually recv'd this a week or so ago and forgot to journal it. My bad.
Received in the mail today. I look forward to reading it soon.
I read this last Spring, but have gotten way behind on writing up my reviews.
I didn't much care for this book. I wish it had been twice as long. It felt like Card was just trying to tie up as many loose ends as possible in order to satisfy his fans. It accomplished the wrapping up, but not the satisfaction.
I am planning to start a new Spiral for this entire series sometime this Fall.
Thanks again for organizing this Spiral!
