Received today as RABCK from quinnsmom. Thank you so much. I can't wait to read this.
I loved this fictional story based on the life of author Henry James. It is a beautifully crafted novel that I hated to finish. I have never read anything by James (Daisy Miller, Portrait of a Lady, The Turn of a Screw), but maybe now I will.
Since it was sent to me as a RABCK, I will follow suit and send this off to geishabird next week.

Released Tuesday, April 26 to geishabird via U.S. Mail. I think the postal service might have messed up, so I'm not sure if it'll get there in 4-7 days or 4-6 weeks. (Yikes!) But it's on its way. Enjoy!
Well, I guess the Post Office came through! Thanks a lot, kelwood...I've heard good things about this book, and as a Henry James fan I'm really intrigued. Thank you so much for your generosity. (I suspect this book will be worming its way to the top of Mt TBR ahead of others...)
An absolutely marvellous book. Flawless writing, fascinating narrative, wonderful descriptions of the writer, the writer's life and the writing process. Had to keep reminding myself that this is fictionalized - it rang so remarkably true from start to finish! Now I want to go out and read everything by James that I haven't yet. Thank you *so* much, kelwood, for sending this to me; I loved it. Will definitely be putting Toibin's other books on my list.
