Pre-numbered label used for registration.

I read this on the bus to Akaroa on the Christchurch Convention Magical Mystery Tour. It was an absolutely marvellous trip. It was heaven to be in such a charming place with so many awesome Bookcrossers!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

Sending this one out as a little added bonus with a bookring!

Journal Entry 7 by aleonblue from Brisbane, Queensland Australia on Thursday, November 3, 2005
I received this book as a RABCK in a package for a bookring from a very generous bookfairy65 - thanks so much for the surprise!

I read the book as soon as I received it - a quick but interesting, and sometimes amusing read. I also learnt a few things too!

Tried to pick a favourite Question and Answer - difficult to do, so picked one which made me laugh the most (fropm page 48-49):

"QUESTION - Ever since the recent birth of my son, who I breastfed, I have wondered: Why do men have nipples?"

ANSWER - Many suggestions ... have been offered. They may exist to help men check that their vests are on straight, or be present as a safety feature - to warn us how far out from the beach we can safely wade. ...

Various structures in the adult reflect the symmetry of male and female and their common embryonic source. Men have nipples because they have already begun to develop when the "switch to male" signal is received. ...The development of breasts is halted ... but the nipples are not reabsorbed. ...

Another effect ... which is shared by both males and females is pointed out in "Male Nipples and Clitoral Ripples" ... because the penis and clitoris have their origins in the same structures, females have the same number of blood vessels and nerve endings packed into a smaller area, resulting in the enhanced sensitivity of the clitoris.

Conclusive evidence that God is not a man? "

(Hope no offence is taken by anyone to this excerpt from the book)

I have plans to continue the travels of this little book ...

What a nice little 'extra' to be added with the 'Heroic Failures' bookring. I'll keep them together as this one, too, looks nicely 'dip-into-able'!

Journal Entry 9 by winglmn60wing from Spotswood, Victoria Australia on Monday, November 21, 2005
Enjoyed dipping in and out of this one! Now I know how GladWrap works! Who'd have thunk it???

Reserved to travel out with the Heroic Failures bookring.

What a fun addition with a fun book! I actually used to have the job of writing the answers to questions like these for an email newsletter several years ago, and I've often wished more of the answers would have stuck in my head. I can say the same for some of these, even though I just read the book! The nipples question was definitely a favorite of mine, and I was surprised to learn the facts about Glad Wrap since I've probably been handling it wrong all these years and letting it lose some of that static charge! Definitely an informative and entertaining little read, can't wait to pass it along with its bookring book.
