Had this book gathering dust on my bookshelf for 11 years now so thought it time to give it a go. There were always other books that appealed to me more so my eyes always skimmed past this one. It did give some incite into the Serbo-Croat war back in the 80s and not long after it used to be known as Yugoslavia. The story is told by an ex-SAS man who flew into the war zone on a secret mission, with his unit, and got caught in the battle line of some warring Serbians.

A few heart stopping moments in their escape to safety and painful search for the Helicopter Landing site. So many acronyms used I had to keep checking the glossary at the back of the book for their meanings!
