Received the book this morning from Scrawler in Germany. Although there are no journal entries for it I am pleased that it finally arrived. So it can be claimed safe and well in The U.K. TBR and passed to Hawkette in Australia.

Update: 8th April. PM to Hawkette who it would seem is in London now, waiting for a reply.

What a tragic story! I felt so sad for Tita and all that life and tradition and her mother threw at her. She endured so much.

The recipes sounded yummy, even for me, the non-cook! I loved the imagery, which drew on the intense emotions of the story.

Will be off to New Zealand this week.

im ever so sorry .. i thought i had registered this a while ago, when it arrived & was put on my tbr pile ..

well it arrived safe & sound and im happily reading it today as the rain pours down outside & i lye comfortable on the couch in front of a fire :)

im about halfway through and im really enjoying it so far .. the story line is pretty wild in places, but described so well that the imagry to my mind is brilliant in detail and EMOTION ..

will probably finish it tonight so ill also have a think about where would be a good plase to release this .. maybe in a supermarket - yeah i like that idea ..

will update on completion
