Have wanted to read this for some time - thanks Murmurr - putting near the top of my tbr pile...
I found this harder to read than I expected - I know it is based on a true story of a 'bag lady' who lived in Sydney and this is why I kept reading. I found the 1st person viewpoint irritating - not sure why. On reflection, I think the strength of this book is that although the character is highly eccentric, it is easy to relate to her...
