Wow, quite unlike ShopGirl or his play. I wasn't sure what to expect but I hadn't expected a character such as Daniel Pecan Cambridge.
Martin gives a wonderful portrayal of autism, I'm assuming that's what Daniel's diagnosis is, ie. Rainman.

Picked up my first Steve Martin book while attending a meetup in the San Diego area.
Wow... what a great read! Steve Martin wove a wonderful story about a complex character with a myriad of obsessions and left me feeling fulfilled after only 163 pages. His intellect and talent as a writer was very evident from this novel.
I picked this up after receiving the release alert. I didn't realize Steve Martin was such an accomplished author and I look forward to reading the book!
