Children's Hospital Book sale.
In The The Cereal Murders, Goldy is catering a dinner at Elk Park Preparatory when the body of the school valedictorian is found. She’s determined to find out who killed him and why especially since her son, Arch is a student at the school and he’s recently been subjected to some cruel pranks. In addition, her helper Julian has become the prime suspect in the student’s death. Goldy must uncover the truth before Arch is hurt and Julian is hauled off to prison.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Davidson provides plenty of appealing characters/suspects as well as an interesting plot. She has included some recipes that I hope to try one day. I’ve read other books in the series and have enjoyed reading them also. I look forward to reading the next one.
Recommended for lovers of culinary cozy mysteries.

I found the book at Timothy's today. Frankly, I'm surprised no one before me has bothered to notice this little gem of an idea. I guess the free newspapers aren't the smash hit they once were.
I will be taking this book out to Calgary, Alberta with me when I drive out in just under 2 weeks (after I finish reading it, of course) to start it on it's journey. While Winnipeg is nice, I have the feeling that this book shares my desire for adventure and couldn't possibly be satisfied with life in this prairie town. Time to take on the world!
