Desert Sojourn: A Woman's Forty Days and Nights Alone

A book review on BC led me to this book, which I just purchased. I can't remember if this book was registered or if another book led me on a path to this one! At any rate, I bought this book used from amazon.com and will release into the wild once I've read it. It looks very interesting.... from the back cover:
"At age thirty-one, having left behind a stifling marriage, Debi Holmes-Binney set off into the harsh Great Salt Lake Desert with basic supplies--rice, lentils, sixty-four gallons of water--and several blank writing journals."
I look forward to the trip!

I mailed this book to a friend today as a borrow-a-book trade. I'll have it back, read it (finally!) and make it available.
Received the book as a book trade, getting ready to re-release it. As with all stories about wandering out into nowhere alone to see what we're made of -- it gave me the itch to get out there myself.
Tonya at adventurejournalist.com posted a review on her sight about the book then offered it up for anyone interested. I LOVED it! Holmes-Binney had such courage to follow her own instincts and that the drastic measure to discover what she needed. I'll be offering it to a friend of mine whom I think will enjoy it, then I'm sending it back to Tonya.
