Journal Entry 2 by Suefitz at RABCK to fellow Bookcrossing member in RABCK, A RABCK -- Controlled Releases on Tuesday, April 26, 2005
My DH picked this up at the post office for me on 5/5. I'm sorry for the delay in journaling but I've been ill for the last couple weeks ... and I'm just now catching up on everything. This is a book trade (for Texas Heat) from Suefitz in CA.
c. 2002 -- 328 pages -- Paperback -- Historical Romance -- #7 in Sherbrooke series
Back Cover: Dear Reader .. It's time for a bit of cat racing, a sinister mystery, and a light touch of gothic menace. Add the signature Sherbrooke grit and wit and voila, you have pendragon.
Here's to the next generation -- Tysen Serbrooke now has 4 sons and Meggie, age 19. Her almost-cousin Jeremy Stanton-Greville -- Sophia Sherbrooke's brother, and the man Meggie has held in silent adoration since she was 13 years old -- unknowingly breaks her guileless heart. She rallied with a hasty marriage to Thomas Malcombe, the earl of Lancaster, a brand-new card in the Sherbrooke deck.
Thomas takes his bride to Pendragon, a castle on the southeastern coast of ireland. A monstrous old place, filled with very eccentric folk, Pendragon nonetheless charms Meggie, until she discovers that she's there for a reason that could lead to disaster.
I hope you like Meggie Sherbrooke's story and getting together with the Sherbrooke clan again. -- Catherine Coulter
