I work at the public library. This book was donated to us and we put it in our booksale, where I found it. I read it and put it back in the booksale for somebody else.
Some of the 1961 lingo got on my nerves, but I liked the story. I really felt like I knew that girl and what she was thinking. She seemed very alive to me. And Paul seemed vibrant too, although I didn't understand him as well. His character, or situation rather, was more dated than hers.
