The Arctic Incident (Artemis Fowl, Book 2)

Bought this for my step-son, but it's collecting dust on the bookshelf.
Thanks to bigbluemarble for the trade. It's about number three in the pile of books to read. But it won't languish as long. I also have a perfect candidate for it after I'm done.
Actually liked this book better than the last one, though I was somewhat annoyed by repeated references to winking. Enough already!
But I did enjoy this tale of a fairy police force reluctantly cooperating with an evil genius child. Maybe it's because Artemis became more likeable, as less evil and more helpful as he and LEP Captain Holly seem to get a long a lot better. (They were adversaries in the first novel.)

I think I passed this on to Papillon1966 a while ago.
