He says it in the middle and again somewhere at the end of the book. We are all connected. Everything is connected. This book invaded my consciousness in a way that not many books do. I started seeing things in my day-to-day life that reminded me of things from the book, but sometimes I could not remember if it was from the book or if it was a story I heard once, or something that actually happened to me. I think that was Delillo's intent. Part 5 lost me. IT was just a little too discombobulated, but overall, I enjoyed the journey. Just when I was getting a bit bored of the "everything is connected" theme, the book slapped me in the face by connecting directly to me. Two of the characters talk about a ship filled with toxic trash going to various countries trying find sonewhere to unload. This is a true story and one of my Dad's good friends was the lawyer for the company that owned the mysterious barge. Boom. Not only was everything in the book connected, but suddenly it was connected directly to me. Cool. It would have received a higher rating if I had not become bored around page 500.

I've had the book for over a month, but haven't gotten the chance to read it! I'd like to read it and review it for the website before passing it on, so I'm going to have to get to it! I'll write back soon to let you know what I've been able to read!
