More spectacular revelations of secret parentage - one of Pilcher's favorite themes. Also, more of Pilcher's obsession with extramarital affairs. Cornwall again. We're back to the good Pilcher in this one.
I'm passing this on to blueampu.

This was my first Pilcher book. I wasn't sure what to expect, but all I can say is that Pilcher is a comforting writer. Her descriptions were full of richness. I throughly enjoyed her writing style.
This story is about Prue (what a great name) and the choices in her life. She has a relationship with a very safe, mom-approved man. However, while visiting an Aunt by the sea, she meets Daniel. He's an artist with a temperament to match. She must choose between a safe and secure man (boring) and an exciting, but uncertain man. Hm. Any guesses on who she chooses? There's also long held secrets revealed. Guilt to assuage. Forgiveness and love to give. A very nice story. I was almost disappointed, when I got to the end. I wanted to be with these characters a little while longer.
