The Green Mile
3 journalers for this copy...
Was wandering around the Goodwill bookshelves today, spending my "November allowance", and couldn't pass this up. It's in great shape, and I've heard a lot about it (and I saw the movie. Who knew the category was horror?). Oh yes, and it was cheap :) What more could a bookcrosser ask?
Sending to my pal rarsberry, along with a fun BXing supply I can't do without. She didn't get the original package, so I thought I'd throw this in the second one. She already has a copy of this in her Permanent Collection, so I thought she might like one that was "release-able".
Sorry for the delay on the second package, rarsberry!
P.S. My new favorite one is the silver one! I use it *ALL* the time!

I just happened to be wandering along the waterfront at Akaroa when I saw a couple of books had been released in an old whaling kettle. This one had somehow suffered a bit of water damage, perhaps from the drink can someone had chucked in as if the historical relic were a litter bin. I picked it up set it on a dry spot, took a photo and saw to my astonishment that it had been registered by Antof9. The famous Antof9.
I reckon this one counts as a wild release and catch, and it's my favorite SK book, and I shall take it with me on a long trip I'm taking soon with a small travelling companion.

Journal Entry 6 by Skyring at Pentonville Prison in Islington, Greater London United Kingdom on Sunday, April 10, 2005
Released 18 yrs ago (4/10/2005 UTC) at Pentonville Prison in Islington, Greater London United Kingdom
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Just Visiting!
Pentonville Prison has long had a fascination for me. It was the model, the big brother, of the inhuman Model Prison in Port Arthur in Tasmania. Still in use, the original buildings may be seen from the street outside.
I left this great story about a prison, prisoners and prison officers outside on two wires hanging down from the sign at the other end of the street frontage from the entrance.
Pix to follow.
