This book really makes you think about what this world could come to and abo ut how much we should appreciate the value of choice .
a really good read.

Just got this book in the mail - thanks, Hurricanereader!
I've actually read The Giver many years ago, but I want to reread it. My son may read it, although I think it may be too intense, from what I recall.

RELEASE NOTES:
Rainbowbabe gave this book to me to have my Mother read (one of many nonBookcrossers in our family who benefit from Bookcrossing!). I brought this to Mom on Thanksgiving, and she has already finished it! She said "it was the best book she'd read in a long time." So, now it is on my massive TBR pile. Probably a few books down the line, but I'm looking forward to it!
I really enjoyed this book, but wished it were longer! I'd like to have had a more conclusive ending, but...
Got this book back from R.C., and it is now available for trade or release :-)
RillabeeChime reminded me that R.D.Jr. will need this book for school next year. Hope the other bookcrossers don't mind if I hold on to the book until then.
The good news is I'll make sure R.D.Jr writes a journal entry about it! :-)
