I bought this a long time ago when I was still in high school and read it, but I don't seem to have retained any of it! So, I'm going to read it again before releasing.
I think I was mistaken when I thought I had read this before because none of it was familiar! That said, I found it an ok book but not great. It seemed to take forever to really get going and I'm still not sure I really understood the ending either. No real resolution which was a bit of a let down. Almost like the author was simply setting up for the sequel, but there isn't one. I did like some of the history and the description of Wales. I'll be available until I can release it.
Sending this off to BCer yorkshire-lass as a wish list RABCK. Enjoy!
What a lovely surprise, thank you! It may take me a while to get to this as the book mountain is huge. It will be well read by the time it is ready to travel again, it will be read by me, my son and my daughter-in-law.
I've got to it at last!
A good enough read, I didn't enjoy it as much as the Merrily Watkins series.
