This year for Halloween, I decided that instead of giving out lots of candy, like I have in the past, I'm going to give out a little bit of candy, and a lot of books! Hopefully, these will be enjoyed by the people who receive them, and encourage everyone - especially children - to read just a little bit more. So, I bought a whole bunch of books at my local library sale to give away to Trick-or-Treaters, and I also bought a few to share with grown-ups. :D This is one of them.

If you've found or received this book, Happy Halloween! I hope you enjoy it! :) And, while you're here, please make a journal entry - you can do it anonymously if you don't want to join. :)

Released on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at about 8:00:00 PM BX time (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) at Trick-or-Treat! in San Ramon, California USA.

RELEASE NOTES:

Am giving out books this year to trick-or-treaters (and their parents). A few of my books will also be reverse-trick-or-treated while I'm going around with my son. Any books that aren't grabbed up will be released somewhere in town on Monday, the 1st.

No matter where or how you received or found this book, I hope you enjoy it, and Happy Halloween! :)

The book was quite enjoyable. It is always interesting to put yourself in the place of the protagonist and try to decide what you would have done in the same situation. I usually roll my eyes a lot when I read horror stories. Sometimes I think there must be a law to prevent authors from making a story truly scary. But this one succeeded. I think my actions toward the people who had done this to me would have been much more violent, however.

My husband found this back in the same place he'd originally released it. YAY! He left it there, for someone else to find. :)
