Cover blurb:
Kate and Cecy and their new husbands, Thomas and James, are off on a Grand Tour. Their plans? To leisurely travel about the Continent, take in a few antiquities, and--of course--purchase fabulous Parisian wardrobes.

But once they arrive in France, mysterious things start to happen. Cecy receives a package containing a lost coronation treasure, Thomas's valet is assaulted, and Kate loses a glove. Soon it becomes clear that they have stumbled upon a dastardly, magical plot to take over Europe.

Now the four newlyweds must embark on a daring chase to thwart the evil conspiracy. And there's no telling the trouble they'll get into along the way. For when you mix Kate and Cecy and magic, you never know what's going to happen next!

RELEASE NOTES:

I finished reading this book this morning. I actually think I enjoyed it more than the first book, partially because I had an easier time keeping the characters straight in my mind. I think these girls have room for more adventure...is there a third book in the works? Thanks for sharing this book with me! I just got back from the post office, the book is on its way to fizzfred in California!

Journal Entry 10 by fizzfred from Sacramento, California USA on Thursday, May 12, 2005
This book arrived yesterday. Thanks Eucalia. I will probably read it this weekend, so I will journal again soon.

Journal Entry 11 by fizzfred from Sacramento, California USA on Wednesday, May 18, 2005
Thanks so much, Jaguar, for letting us read your book. I WAS fun to hang out with Cecy and Kate again. This time around I found I liked Kate's chapters better. I'd like to read something else by Caroline Stevermer. :) For the first half of the book I was sad because there was not enough magic. The second half made up for that! I really enjoyed this book but I felt it may have been a bit too long and drawn out. I do look forward to more adventures with Cecy and Kate though, if they write any more.

I will send it as soon as I get Explorer1119m's address.

Journal Entry 12 by fizzfred from Sacramento, California USA on Friday, May 20, 2005
Sent to Explorer1119m today. Enjoy!

5/24 The book came back to me because the post office requires you to hand deliver packages over 16 oz. to someone at the branch. I did know of the policy, it is just I have mailed around 100 books (some of which were bigger than this one) and this is the first that has been refused! :) So, anyway I took it to the post office today and successfully mailed it.

Our postal carrier thought it was very funny that the post office would not take the package because they are worried about bombs but they felt it was perfectly ok for him to carry it around. He, he!!
