Actual cover art is different.

I bought this today at the Vancouver Public Library Book Sale. It was withdrawn from their collection and has a ONE BOOK ONE VANCOUVER sticker on the cover because of its 2003 selection. Book, meet my TBR pile. TBR pile, book.

I read it! I read it! I finally frickin' read it! And I liked it, I really liked it. I was a bit worried there'd be too much emphasis on the restaurant/cooking side of things, but it turned out to be very well-balanced with the title-park plotline. The cooking plot was done well to be readable to a foodie ignoramus such as myself, which is saying something. Might even say I learned a thing or two. More of Stanley Park on my book blog.

Released 14 yrs ago (9/13/2009 UTC) at Stanley Park (details in notes) in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Book was left on the first bench past Siwash Rock when walking clockwise along the seawall. The bench is nowhere near Georgia Street & Chilco Street but the release system wouldn't let me enter just "Stanley Park" without the extra incorrect info. I can understand store addresses in a release zone's name, but Stanley Park? Really?

Congratulations on finding a BookCrossing book!
