Not as good( ahem) as The Da Vinci Code, but just as much fun!!
Fast paced, fantastically descriptive and totally, totally absorbing. An action packed thriller where every chapter ends with a cliff hanger. The whole thing seems to take place over a few hours with age-old mysteries solved within minutes once in the hands of our hero, a bit silly and ridiculously far fetched at times, but it certainly makes for a fantastic and gripping read.
'When a world renowned scientist is found brutally murdered, a Harvard professor, Robert Langdon, is summoned to identify the mysterious symbol seared onto the dead man's chest. his conclusion: it is the work of the Illuminati, a secret brotherhood presumed extinct for nearly four hundred years- now reborn to continue their bitter vendetta against their sworn enemy, the Catholic church.'

caught from thrill me bookbox, since so many people recommend his books i thought i'd give it a go.
update; i guess i'm not cut out for his work, i find him very heavy going and if i can't be gripped instantly i'm afraid i give up.
i have however found someone to pass this onto as a rabck for their birthday end of may as it is on their wishlist.

sending to fellow bookcrosser as early birthday rabck.
recieved today thankyou
Quite interresting, I found it slightly harder to get into then the Da vinci code but once it gets going it is very interresting, Like the da vinci code it is about the church, secret societies and things kept from the public. worth the read but as with the da vinci code remember its only a novel, don't take it too seriously!!
