i didn't actually read THIS book. i read LOTR when i was 15, and it was the first book that ever made me cry - i had no idea how Frodo and Sam could possibly make it once they got all the way to the crack of doom ... and they'd come so damn far ... it just wasn't fair ... sob sob. i found this copy in the laundromat of Windsor Gardens caravan park, and put it in my bookcase with very good intentions to at least log it in. that was 9 months ago, now i'm moving to melbourne and clearing out all my clutter. not that clutter could ever be associated with Tolkien ...
