Eleventh Hour (An FBI Thriller)

This was a fairly disappointing book. My dad warned me that it was "light" when he gave it to me, and I certainly agree. The plot was okay, but most (if not all) of the major "surprises" were quite predictable. The characters were cardboard cutouts and I couldn't identify with any of them.
It struck me this morning just what had been bothering me about her writing style. It's not just that the reader can "see" into each character's mind (which really bothers me), it ended up feeling like a cheap romance novel, rather than a good thriller.
I'd recommend this book for beach reading, primarily, or perhaps as a way to turn your mind off for a few hours.
