I read this book two years ago and was deeply effected by not only the story it tells, but also by the painfully graceful and exact writing style. I have never encountered before or since a writer (poet) with such an acute knowledge and skill of metaphor. I love my own battered copy too much to part with it, so I bought another to release. This had to be the first book I released into the wild. Please enjoy.

Books seem to appear to me when my soul is asking the most difficult questions. I have always appreciated this synchronicity in my life. Now more than ever, i have begun to pay attention to it and thrive from its unexpectedness. This book came to me at work (Bernheim Forest) on a day i was feeling restless and blue. Another woman found it and brought it to me, she said "i'm not interested in this, but you may be". I read it that evening in its entirety. It was sorrowful yet poignant in its beauty. I will pass it on to my daughter in Louisville where she will release it when she is finished, or leave it again where someone visiting Bernheim can find it. I'm not sure yet, because i am going to read it one more time before i let it go. And like the original releaser... i will purchase a copy for my own. Thanks for passing this along. Good karma IS priceless.
