A quick read of annecdotes. Here are a few of my favourites:

If anything can go wrong, it will.
Everything takes longer then you think.
No books are lost by lending except for the ones that you wanted to keep.
The other lines always moves faster.

Journal Entry 5 by meageire from Peterborough, Ontario Canada on Monday, August 13, 2007
I was living in Calgary for the summer. My ex-boyfriend, who was treeplanting in B.C. at the time, came to visit. it was an emotional experience as we were still quite close and trying to figure things out. On the night he was leaving, he walked me to a C-Train station. We were about to say goodbye and he found this book as I was about to buy the ticket. The whole trip we discussed our relationship and I didn''t understand why it had to end. Then we found a book that said "Murphy''s Law- and other reasons things go wrong." He said, "do you know what this means?" and I felt a bit less alone in the world. It also meant that I had a book to read on the way home. I had forgotten mine and it''s a long trip from Whitehorn to Victoria Park station. I found it on June 19th and it became lost in the abyss of my bedroom. I found it again and I plan on leaving it somewhere in Toronto when I fly back. Overall, it was a pretty memorable experience. The book''s alright.
