Rleased at a lunch at Black Friars in Oxford
I'm going through a bit of a mystery / crime phase just now & I've never read Robert Goddard so I picked this up at this afternoon's Oxford BX meet-up.
30.3.05 - Reserved for CaffCaff
30.3.05 - Reserved for CaffCaff
This is the first time I've picked up a Robert Goddard book, and I have to admit that at first it didn't grab me. However, I ended up desperate to find out what had really happened! The plot had so many twists and turns that I gave up guessing pretty early on. Every time I thought it had to be coming to an end, it was off again!!
I don't think he'll become one of my favourite authors, but I've put another Robert Goddard on my TBR pile now, and I'll be returning to him at some point.
This will be off to CaffCaff as it's on her wishlist, but I've another book reserved for her too so I'll hang onto it until I'm ready to put them both in the post together.

Picked up at the bosh bash.
A very complicated thriller that was perhaps a little too long. still an entertaining read, though.
