WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
What a nice package of books!
This one has also been on my wishlist - but I recently had the chance to read it, so I'm happy to have this copy to share.
Amazing to think that a book on punctuation has become a best-seller!
Clever concept and title, humorous and serious discourse on correct punctuation. And while I somewhat bemoan the internet-driven decline of correct grammar, punctuation, spelling - I think there is a place for comfortable, more relaxed usage that still communicates well:=)
Did anyone else sense in this book a grammar arrogance that might not be helpful for someone unclear on punctuation rules - and a sense of smug superiority among those in the know?
My favorite thought - in one of the numerous prefaces/intros: If a sign advertising: CD's, Video's, DVD's, and Book's - doesn't bother you, don't bother to read further!
Thanks so much, luintaurien!
