A vision of a future where fertility is so highly valued it becomes a state controlled comodity with horific results.
Aspects of this book reminded me of Orwell's 1984, sharing their vision of a totalitaian state controlling all aspects of the lives of its citizens.

I found another copy of this book at the goodwill store so I am going to mark this as available as I am really not sure when I am going to get around to reading this. Seems to be one of those books I keep picking up and than setting it aside for something else.
