This inventive, inspired, beautifully writen novel is about transformation - of a circus roustabout into a wirewalker, of innocence into experience, and life into art and back into life. On the surface it seems to be a wild novel about cirucs life, but it is really just about life - disturbing and powerfully moving. This book was really a pleasure to read.
