Am in the process of reading this one right now.
I liked it. I didn't love it. I think if she had eliminated a character or two, you would have had the opportunity to get to know the remaining characters better. Great premise, loved the concept. Wish my Austen readings were more current; it would have helped, I think.
Mailed this one to Lyzzybee in London! May take awhile to get there, though -- it's going by boat!

I thought I'd journalled my comments on this already, but nothing on here! It was enjoyable but not brilliant - I enjoyed Elizabeth Noble's The Book Group more - was a bit heavy-handed in the comparisons between the people;s lives and the books though I do know Austen quite well and this might have been more subtle to less of a JA fan. But then again, aren't JA fans the people this book is aimed at?!

can't believe how long this poor book gathered dust on my tbr. i seriously had to stop putting books on the pile(s) so i could get to little treasues like this!
