A very smart mystery, focused on the university professor/librarian/historian community. Manages to stay smart while still making fun of the professorati (my lame word play, not the authors) in a gentle way.

Also aspects of the solution surprised me, which doesn't often happen.

A well-done mystery. It is a shame the author left certain aspects of the story hanging....made it feel like someone took my last bite of desert but I was still hungry.
