October 6, 2004:
Finally finished reading this book, it's basically a book comprising 12 in-depth essays on various cults throughout the world, the notable ones including the Jonestown mass suicides, the Waco shootings and the Japanese Aum Shirikyo cult. Most of the essays are written with lots of details on the cults, its beginnings, the leaders, the followers, the ideology and ultimately, its downfall.
Some parts of the book lean towards the macabre side but it eventually evens out to be presented in a factual and informative way for interested readers.
