Dana, the Nazi camp survivor who achieves the dream of his hated masters; Gershon, the Vietnam fighter jock determined to be the first African-American to land on another planet, and Natalie, the brilliant geologist/astronaut who risks a career and love for the chance to run her fingers through the soil of another world.
I read this book a few years ago, and it took me back to that time when the space program was held in high esteem, and those of us oriented towards engineering could think of no higher calling.
I bought this book at a thrift shop in Waukesha Wisconsin. I have my own copy, so this is just for trading or bookcrossing.
