This is the first of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It always seemed like the most beautiful of the books, because the Fellowship has yet to be truly touched by evil or hardship, though they face some of that on their journey. Frodo has yet to be torn by the dark weight of the Ring, and the fellowship has not yet broken.
This copy is old and fragile, and I'd prefer to see it go to someone who will take care of it and love it as it deserves, along with the rest of the books.
