Holding the Dream

I really love series, and Nora Roberts writes some of the most engaging trilogies I've read in the Romance genre. She makes the stories lively and humorous, and mixes in elements of danger, mystery or magic. She also delves into specialty information to help shape her characters and give them dimension.
In the second part of this trilogy, Kate must deal with her own scandal, and struggle with her feelings of belonging. While she loves the family that raised her, she can't quite get over the feeling that she "owes" them. She feels this even more when she uncovers the shady truth of her own parentage.
This book shows that families are often made from the heart.

I put this one on top of the newspaper dispenser outside one of our buildings. Definitely a more interesting read than the same, depressing news we always hear!
