P is for Peril
5 journalers for this copy...
I picked this book up to share with other BXers.
Another wonderful RABCK from AnitaNovel! As I mentioned before, the mailman left the package containing G and this one on my front door (I guess it didn't fit in the mailbox). This has upset me because I don't want BCing books being lost, or worse, stolen! But thankfully, they arrived safe and sound.
I'll be update this entry as soon as I am done, which my take a while, because I am reading this series in order. Thanks again!

Kinsey survives another mystery by the skin of her teeth and finds out that appearances are deceiving... Be careful who you sympathize with.
I am using this book to continue its destiny as a RABCK for the mystery and tea sweepstakes. Safe travels!

And the book is here with me!
Thank you so much for sending this mystery all the way from Florida, with some yummy-looking Japanese tea, and lots of lovely stickers.
Thank you, Ilios! ¡Muchas gracias, Valeria! :)

Thank you very much Bookworm-lady! I've never read any Sue Grafton books before, but have several friends who enjoy these novels.
I can see why so many of my friends and family like the Sue Grafton novels. It was well plotted and tense. I especially liked the bits where Kinsey audaciously nosed around in places she shouldn't, and picked up valuable clues as a result. She has terrible taste in men though!
P is for Peril would've gotten an even higher from me if it weren't for its weirdly unfocussed ending. I read it and thought, 'that's it, seriously'? Grafton was clearly going for an open-ended surprise and I understand what she was implying, but it didn't work in my opinion. It seemed a little silly. Having looked at other reader reviews for this novel online, I see I wasn't the only one to feel that way. Apparently this is unusual amongst Grafton books. Normally they have a much fuller conclusion.
So I feel a little cheated after such a good mystery build-up, but never mind :-). I'll keep an eye out for other Grafton books in the future and see how I find those.
