okay, i KNOW its a romance but there is a reason for this, i swear! it was given to me by my boyfriend's sister and i figured, what the hell? i am currently writing a spoof of a gay romance novel for my sister (Amber101) for christmas and so far our research has been limited to conversations neither of us can keep up with due to the constant tears of laughter at each others euphemisms. so, consider this reasearch into how to write a really cheesey romance.

okay, this was alright (for a romance). it does crack me up that this heroine was named "portia" and that she lived in the 1600's during the civil wars...but i won't go on. it actually served it purpose which was to entertain me while i was not feeling very well. for that, i am thankful. i have decided that, henceforward, while in the throes of the flu, i will only read romances or true crime.
