From the back cover:

Joana was one of the dead. But she was brought back to life! That's when people began tryingn to kill her...nice people...the last people in the world anyone would suspect of being capable of murder--people who were already dead...

Found this at a thrift store today, and was so thrilled, I love Brandner!

Jaremeister is good to me.

I got this on Friday from my favorite caramel-filled werewolf (*throws shadowwolff a treat*). Thanks also to Jaremeister for sharing this one! I just finished this one a few minutes ago. It has some decent parts to it, but it sort of falls short. Still, it's a quick read, and I had to keep cheering on my fellow zombies despite the inevitable outcome. ;-)

This one will soon be plodding its way to Jamieh2003!

I have to agree with Mel the Zombie on this one. While it had a lot of good plot elements, things were never followed through satisfactorily for me. It was harmless, light reading appropriate to the season. I will also be sending this one along with A Choir if Dead Children to Nadia once I get her address.

Released on Tuesday, November 02, 2004 at about 10:00:00 AM BX time (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) at by mail in To the next participant, A Bookring Controlled Releases.

RELEASE NOTES:

I actually mailed this to aset01 via surface mail awhile ago but forgot to make a release note. This is winging it's way to France along with A Choir of Ill Children. My apologies for not journalling sooner.

Disapointing that is. the story is interesting but the author haven't developpent it correctly and it was so predictible. He could have made a bigger and more frightening book with this one.

I have to agree with the previous opinions on this book. A good quick read(and way to long in my hands..sorry about that.) but will be moving on very soon. (The book reminded me a bit of Little's The Walking. but not enough things similiar to really say they were the same.)

Walkers made it back home today! Zombiekitty is actually next on the list, but we haven't heard from her for a while, so I figure I'll keep this, read it, and when she re-surfaces, I'll send it on to her.

Finished reading this just now (half past midnight and I work in the morning, why do I keep doing this to myself? lol), and enjoyed it. I do agree with the consensus here, but that is par for the course with Brandner, it seems. Great ideas, some really good moments and spooks, but overall just too short and rushed. Not a bad read though, fun, gory, just too damn short. I will set this free soon.
