Thank you Kislany for the book, I received it this morning. I'm impatient to read it and think I'll be able to send it to torialouise at the beginning of September.

Journal Entry 6 by torialouise from York, North Yorkshire United Kingdom on Saturday, September 18, 2004
arrived safely - i have a couple of book rings in front of this one but wil get on to ASAP!
A lovely easy read, the love story of Jake and Maggie who meet at a time when love was not on their minds. Maggie is much older than Jake, divorced with 2 grown up children, Jake is seperated from his childhood sweet heart and building a new life in Kent, Connecticut.
A real heart warmer - although i shed a few tears too!
Thanks for sharing - sending it on its journey again.

Came in the mail while I was out of town. Thanks for sharing this book! I should get it done shortly, although I do have two ring books ahead of it. I'll let you know if there will be a significant delay :)
I'm posting a pic with the journal entry of the view I had over the weekend. It's Dumas Bay in Washington State (USA), which feeds (I believe) into Puget Sound. Not a fabulous picture, but in real life, it was AMAZING!

A nice, lightweight read. It seemed like it might have been written earlier than 1995, as there are no references to cell phones, "NDE" (near-death experiences) seem a novel thing to discuss, and the author is trying very hard to justify divorce. An entertaining part of it being published in the UK is the use of the word "bleeper" (when I would say "beeper"), which I just ran into recently in another book and commented on in the forums.
Maggie & Jake's relationship was fun to observe, and I liked the descriptions of their work together.
Thanks for sharing this book, kislany -- it was nice and light. Good for a busy week when I had company from Sunday to Sunday, and the first 3-year old in the house as an overnight guest :)
Will send on to q-cow as soon as I get an addy.

Nice and easy. Even though i read the back, i was surprised when Amy got sick. I guess i was really tired last night.
so what do i do now?
