I caught this book at the BookCrossing Release Party at the Central Library. I read this book in college. I remember it being very good, so picked it up to read again before releasing it.

Levi entered Auschwitz in early 1944. This book starkly portrays life for the author inside Auschwitz, describing in nuts-and-bolts detail how people survived. What I found most intriguing about the book is, unlike Wiesel's Night, Levi writes about survival with a certain, matter-of-fact detachment.
