Caught at the Leeds Meet last night. I'm an Austen fan for the actually writing but the history of the Brontës all struggling to live in a small stone cage on the edge of moors is a compelling one.

RELEASE NOTES:

Leeds Bookcrossers are going to regularly swap a box of books with Canadian bookcrossers, this book is going in the first box of books to be sent... :)

Received as part of a Leeds/Toronto book exchange. I've always been interested in the lives of the Brontes, I have a copy of Gaskill's biography of Charlotte, so this should be an interesting read.

Very well-written, well-researched novelisation of the lives of the Bronte family. It was nice to hear the histories of the Brontes who weren't famous, either by lack of inclination or they did not live long enough to discover their potential. In excellent read for anyont interested in the lives behind the authoresses or life in Yorkshire in the 1800s.
